Under the supervision of the charge nurse and/or physician, administers care for patients of all age groups, with both acute and chronic health problems. The ED Tech Lead provides direct patient care that encompasses the nursing assistant role, unit secretary role, phlebotomy and 12-lead ECG tracings. Serves as a resource to other technician, trains new technicians, and resolves scheduling needs and payroll for ED technicians. Responsible for restraint audits.
