The Bone Densitometry Technologist RT Certified II utilizes specialized radiology equipment to measure patient bone density. This role handles and administers contrast media in accordance with radiology process and procedures to optimize diagnostic quality of imagining studies. Under general direction of the radiologist, this role is responsible for assessing and monitoring bone density conditions and fracture risk of patients to aid in the diagnosis and management of bone-related conditions and improve patient outcomes.
