Diet Technician 2 (MC,FT)

Job Summary: The Dietetic Technician 2 (DT2) participates in reviewing the initial nutrition screen and identify malnutrition triggers that generate referral to a dietitian. Completes subsequent nutrition screenings throughout admit to identify patients with changes in nutritional status. Refers patients to the dietitian within designated timeframes for follow up. The DT2 may be assigned to work in the call center/diet office, responding to calls/orders from unit staff and/or patients regarding menu selections and between meal orders for those on general or complex diet
