Eagle Point Power Generation is a 237 MW natural gas-fired power plant located
in Westville, New Jersey, nestled in Gloucester County along scenic Crown Point
Road. The facility began commercial operation in 1991 as a cogeneration plant,
supplying steam and power to the adjacent refinery. It features two GE Frame 7EA
combustion turbine generator sets, paired with ABB VAX and Siemens SST-400 steam
turbines. In 2012, the plant transitioned to a full Independent Power Producer,
serving the PJM market.
