Description
Under the general direction of the Trauma Program Manager, the registrar is responsible for data abstraction from the medical records of appropriately defined trauma patients for entry into the Alaska Trauma Registry. Registrar additionally supports report generation and data validation programs. This data is used to for injury research, epidemiology, quality improvement and to enhance trauma care delivery to our patients.
