Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director- Architectural Trades & Auto Services, the Automotive/Equipment Mechanic is assigned to the Auto Shop within the Maintenance & Operations unit of the Facilities Development & Operations and works independently or as a team member under the general supervision of the Auto Shop Supervisor. The Automotive/Equipment Mechanic performs the full range of skilled journey-level automotive/heavy equipment mechanical work in the overhaul, repair, maintenance, service and adjustment of automotive, heavy maintenance
