Primary Function
The Telemetry Technician - Junior performs hands-on installation, configuration, operation, sustainment, and maintenance of fixed and mobile telemetry systems in support of Wallops Range mission requirements. The position supports telemetry operations for aircraft, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), sounding rockets, Expendable Launch Vehicles (ELVs), balloon payloads, ground test articles, and satellites, working under general supervision with increasing independence.
